Bibliography
Hi, I have a list of references in a word document that I want to format as a Bibliography (I want it on ABNT style) with a help from Mendeley. But I can't understand how can I use Mendeley if the references are not files but only references listed. Can Mendeley help me to put all the references I have listed formatted correctly? I mean, I don't have all the PDF/word/etc files of each book or article, so I won't add them to Mendeley. I just wanted to put my bibliography in the right padron/format/style.
Also, I still don't know how to include references that are not files into my library.
How can Mendeley help me with my list of book/article references that I still haven't found as digital articles? (some of them are not available in digital file, so how will I create my bibliography with them?)
Can I bring the list from my word doc to Mendeley??

Dear Mendeley team,
I cannot use the insert bibliography button, when I tried several times, it displays the following message: "Falló en el método "ListIndex" de objeto 'CommandBarComboBox' in Mendeley Plugin.
I work with Word 2011 for Mac version 14.0.0 and i Have installed the Mac OS X 10.7.5 (all in Spanish)

While importing journal article, the issue number of the article is not appearing. Only volume and page numbers appeared. Any idea!!

MS word 2003 error message: 'Unable to install the Microsoft Word Plugin'
Hi,
I have downloaded Mendeley 1.9.2. I am running MS word 2004 for Mac, version 11.5.5 (090513). We are using Mac OS X 10.6.8 in a 2.3 GHz Intel Core 2 duo. I have 2GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. I reieve the error message 'Unable to install the Microsoft Word Plugin' and 'Mendeley was not able to find Microsoft Word on this Mac'. Can you help and tell me how to solve this issue?

Setting Mendley to not upload items/files
Hi,
Always I open Mendeley, it starts uploading items/files automatically. I don't want that Mendeley do this automatically.
a) Is it possible to set the software to never upload items/files (I want the files just in my local drive)?
b) Is it possible to set the software to upload just when I want, if I want?

How to install cite while are you writing on openoffice
I have been starting to use mendeley recently, but I can't install the plugin on open office. I just show up to install on MS word. How can I find the plugin to openoffice 4.0?

Web and desktop library not syncing
I've imported a few articles from PubMed using the "Save to Mendeley" function. All the articles appear in my web library, but no matter what settings I change, or how many times I "Sync", I cannot get them to appear in my desktop library.
What am I missing?

Importing Citations from Science Direct
I have been previously using reference manager where I could just import citations directly into my database. I am really confused by the 'Install web importer'. Having clicked on this option from the menu it gives me a load of instructions that don't help me - I don't have a save to Mendeley button! The screenshot does not help me at all!

I am sorry if this question has been already asked, but it is possible to insert an article in the bibliography, without citing it in the text? I have read many books, but I am not quoting any passage of them, can I insert them in the bibliography either way?

vancouver citation
in some of my citations in my bibliography, the last authors name appears in initial forms (e.g - GW for greer W). i am using vancouver style which is the prescribed style from the university. please help me to solve this issue
