I have normal internet connection and can operate all other programms requiring wireless connectivity. What's up?

Importing results from Scopus
Hi, I am exporting the results of a Scopus search into a document (.ris) to later upload the list into Mendeley, since I cannot do direct import due to having more than a thousand results. The thing is I have 1075 results, but only 1073 have been added to my Mendeley Desktop. Where are the other two missing? What is the best way or format to import files into Mendeley, anyway? Thank you!

MS plugin does not work
Hi!
I really do need help please!
I have re-installed Mendeley about 10 times now!I installed the word plugin.But when I click on insert citation in the Mendeley Cite o Matic box it brings up a window saying:Mendeley word plugin problem.Unable to start mendeley desktop automatically:Failed to start C:/Program Files (x86)Mendeley Desktop/Mendeley Desktop.exeTry starting Mendeley Desktop manually.
I have installed & uninstalled the plugin in Mendely several times but still it does not fix the problem.
I am using windows 8.
Please help me sort this out...

Unable to install MS Word 2011 Plugin
When I try to install the MS Word 2011 plugin from the Mendeley Desktop, I get the following error:
"Your copy of Microsoft Word does not appear to have Visual Basic for Applications support installed"
I have completely removed Office 2011 and reinstalled it using the Customize option, and I have selected all available options.
Visual Basic for Applications seems to be working (as I understand it) because I am able to record, save and use macros.
Any Ideas?

Authors
How can I choose if the author is an institution or a person when I am typing it manually? I have some authors that are institutions with a comma in their name, and Mendeley automatically recognizes them as a person, so the bibliography is not correctly inserted.

I am a PhD. student and have been working on chapters in MS word 2013. already, i have inserted citations in chapters using word (inset citation) option. now i have recently installed mendeley and its word-plug-in. i wanted to know, if i am using insert citation using Mendeley-cite, then is it possible to merge the references which i have already inserted in word bibliography and document. also what about when i insert bibliography at the end using mendeley-cite, then would those citations which i inserted before, appear in bibliography.
Also in word,we have option to see the complete reference, as it would appear in bibliography, using manage sources options, similarly, we can edit it, how is that possible in mendeley

Mendeley doesn't recognize when i install Mendeley Desktop
My problem is clear. mendeley doesn't recognize when i install your program in the pc. I from universidad catolica del norte (Chile) and we have the posibility to be premium but the only thing that i need is mendeley recongize my account in mendeley desktop.

I am new to Mendeley, so if I need to post this question in another area, please let me know, I won't take it personally! I have a blog post as a source. For the "type", since "Blog post" isn't an option, I had to choose "Web Page" since that's the closest thing I could find. When I tried to add the APA reference citation for it, it does not look anything like how the APA manual says it should be referenced. I even followed up with my instructor to make sure.
The way it is supposed to be referenced is:

I can change it myself, but isn't the whole point of Mendeley to make referencing sources easier? Like I said, I'm new and have only used Mendeley for about a week, but if it can't even come close to proper formatting, I may need to look elsewhere.

How to find and install the plugin for LibreOffice?
I have a Mac OS X on which I have just installed LibreOffice. In my desktop Mendeley, when I click on Tools/Instal LibreOffice Plugin, I get a message "Couldn't Install LibreOffice Plugin The LibreOffice unopkg utility gave the following output: " Yes, the output was empty. Can you help me fix this?
I was assured this would work and made my whole bibliography in Mendeley and now I have a deadline for a grant proposal in few days and can't use the bibliography! Please help!

import from endnote
Dear Mendeley Team
I am trying to merge (import) EndNote references into my Mendeley database, exporting a .xlm file from Endnote and importing that file into Mendeley. This works fine, except:
I have used the label field to label my groups - but that information is lost in Mendeley. Surprisingly only the last record contains that "label" information in the "tag" field. All other records do not contain anything in the "tag" field.

How generate a bibliography in a document that already has the citations in it?
Dear friend(s),
I just finished a book complete with notes. Then I learned of Mendeley, and I thought that I could use Mendeley to generate a bibliography.
After downloading everything, viewing the introductory videos, and reading the manual, I'm getting the impression that there is no way for me to generate my bibliography if I did not insert the original full data in the notes using Mendeley.
Am I right?
I have also learned that there is some way to export a .pdf in Mendeley into Endnote; and I'm thinking that maybe Endnote can get bibliographic data out of my notes and use that to generate a draft bibliography. Does anyone happen to know if that is correct? (I just downloaded a trial version of Endnote, which looks more complicated to use.
Mendeley seems very serviceable for many uses. Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Import Papers PDFs + annotations & notes
My annotations (ie. highlights) are transferred with the pdf file, but I have to export my notes in a separate file.
Is there a way to import my notes taken in the Papers application with the notes' corresponding pdf files? If so, how might I go about this?

I have a Mac and Microsoft word installed and when I try to install the MS plugin this message appears:
"Mendeley could not find inside Documents the directory called "Microsoft User Data"
Probably your Microsoft Word language is not yet supported. Please, select the equivalent of "Microsoft User Data" in your language."
Can anybody help me with this?

Hello,
I´m wondering if there is a possibility to keep linkes active in Word when I copy a part of my text and add it somewhere else.
All the time I do that, the references lose their links to the library.
