Mendeley does not properly recognize older articles in my library and I have to manually correct the reference information (e.g. title, author, volume, series, page range). However, once corrected Mendeley does not format the in text citation properly. For example a citation that should be Baldridge et al. 2009, is inserted by Mendeley as GERALD D. BALDRIDGE, GLEN. A. SCOLES, NICOLE Y. BURKHARDT, BRIAN SCHLOEDER, TIMOTHY J. KURTTI 2009. Are there certain nuances/tricks for manually editing/entering article author information in the library?
