How well does the details extraction/web scraping work?

Hi! I've just started using Mendeley and I'm having problems with the PDF import, specifically with the automatic extraction and/or scraping of details such as titles, author names, abstracts and conference names. I can't really tell if the behavior I see is the expected one. The papers I'm trying to import are mostly relatively recent (most of them from 2010 or later) conference papers from the field of computer science. So here are a few questions I have regarding the automatic determination of publication details: 1) There are quite a few papers for which Mendeley was not able to determine correct author names or paper titles (missing authors, missing words, mixing authors with affiliated institutions). How common is this? 2) For some papers, Mendeley appears to be able to extract DOI URLs from the paper but for other papers from the same conference that most probably used the same LaTeX template, it doesn't extract it. Is there any explanation for this behavior? 3) Almost all of my PDFs/papers/publications are in the ACM digital library have public abstracts available, but for none of my 90 documents, Mendeley added an abstract (even for those for which it was able to extract DOIs and ACM URLs. Do I have to enter abstracts manually? 4) Mendeley almost always uses 'Journal Article' as publication type. Is Mendeley generally able to automatically detect the correct publication type? It added 'Proceedings of ...' to some of the publications automatically but still used 'Journal Article' as type. Thank you!
