Multiple articles in one bibliographic entry?

When inserting citations into Word, is it possible to group together multiple citations by one author into a single bibliographic entry, separated by semicolons? I'm using the APS (American Physics Society) citation Style, and my understanding is that this format is what's called for by the journal. To clarify, what I currently have is: text blah blah [1-3]. Bibliography: [1] Jewett, Article 1 [2] Jewett, Article 2 [3] Jewett, Article 3 What I want is: text blah blah [1] Bibliography: [1] Jewett, Article 1; Article 2; Article 3. Similarly, is it possible to insert text into bibliographic entries, to make them more like footnotes? I'd like to be able to to say: [1] A more complete summary of these issues can be found in a series of articles by Jewett: Article 1; Article 2; Article 3.
