Using Mendeley to format pre-written reference lists

Hi, I'm currently editing a batch of papers from various authors to prepare them for publication. We are using the APA style, and I need to comb through the reference lists to format them for APA style. Does Mendeley have a feature for this or is it somehow possible to use Mendeley to make this easier? Each paper generally refers to very different publications (some from little-known Chinese journals), so I don't think it would be efficient to build up a library and create re-generate the reference lists myself. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Kathryn
